| Comment | Don’t know if the council are already considering it however a system they use in Germany, I think it’s called Pfand, where people get money back from their recycling.
Either that or actually pay folk to litter pick. Each bag or rubbish from an area gets a payment, like the way cash for clothes scheme is. Payment by weight.
We’ve had litter campaigns for years and people won’t care if someone else is clearing up their mess so money may sway people. |
