Aww man that tune of the day. Didn't know the song by name, then I clicked it and it instantly transported me back to a video that deeply, deeply affected me. So much so that I feel I have to write a few words about it here, and share it in the hopes that some cunt reading gets hit by it in the same way I did.

It's a bit early in the morning for this craic and I'm not going to be able to do it justice with words, but hopefully if you're this far into this spiel you're considering it.

It's from a Consolevania review of the classic game Shenmue. A daft wee show that never takes itself too seriously - 3 Glasgow guys that spend most of their time taking the piss out of games, with comedy sketches inbetween. This video starts out the same way, but very quickly turns into something much more when the reviewer mentions his experience of losing a baby. From there though, without spoiling it - it turns into one of the most beautiful pieces of media I've ever seen, right the way to the end of the video. I get brought to near-tears in a happy way just thinking about it.

It's not addressed in the video, but roughly a year after losing his child, him and his girlfriend (now wife) had a healthy pair of twins, and I can't think of the words to properly express how that makes me feel with everything else in mind, but it's just a lovely wee ending.
