| Comment | I disagree. I’ve seen kids having a meltdown in supermarkets before, I don’t think: that’s a terrible child/parent not behaving.
I think: I feel your pain fellow parent. Who knows why the child is misbehaving, perhaps they are a spoiled brat, perhaps they are autistic and are unsettled in the environment. Either way, I nod at the parent to show solidarity and understanding, then continue about my business so as not to cause additional embarrassment to the parent/child.
