I’m not patronising, there are laws and wether you like them or not they apply to you too. Would you be happy if cars and motorbikes routinely used cycle lanes whenever they like it? No? Of course not. For you pedestrians do not matter and they’d better get of your way. This is a selfish attitude and it’s even worse if you understand that rules are there for everyone’s safety.
