The "getting out of hand" myth gets on my tits so much. Compare the behaviour around football now to that of 20 years ago and it's so much more tame than it was.
The only difference we have now is the vocal 50% who don't like football posting online about it thinking that it makes them interesting. Its the middle-class adult's "I'm not like the other girls" trope.
