Comment | American in Glasgow here. When we left the US years ago, one of the best feelings was selling our cars. I was determined to not own a car in the UK, but it feels like there is so much of Scotland that we can't see because we don't have a car. Generally, I'm worried about the cost of driving here. I don't understand MOT, and I don't even know where a petrol station is anywhere near our house. I feel like the first step is getting my licence, but I don't know if I can do that without having a car. |
