A few years ago was in a private let which was re-possessed as landlord hadn't paid mortgage.
Spoke to social work and explained was about to be made homeless - they couldn't do anything but did give me a letter confirming the circumstances. This was enough to get me accepted by GHA as 'vulnerable' which meant I could 'bid' for housing. Got a nice wee flat after a few weeks.
Might still be worth trying - no misrepresentation at all. |
