I hate them. Then I hear them play one of my favourite songs (Hooray! Hooray! It’s a holi-holiday by Boney M) and I start to loosen up. Start to chill oot. Cause it reminds me, theyre just like me. They’re no bad people - they’re just having a good time. Then I hear them laugh again. Only this time, it doesn’t sound like fingernails down a blackboard like it did before, cause this time I realise that, if they were my pals, the sound of laughter would me like music to my ears. Like a lullaby. I’d drift off to sleep with a big smile on my face - happy, cause my pals are happy. That’s what I dae, imagine they’re my pals. In a way, they are. After all, they say a stranger is just a friend you havnt met yet. |
