There seems to be no big ideas at GCC - CEC is forever talking about how they're going to pedestrianise the city centre, or expanding the trams, etc, the BioQuarter, etc.
People in Glasgow act like the city is the real capital, but the Council seems content to just coast on "Glasgow's industrial past" and the 2014 Commonwealth Games rather than proposing anything transformative.
