| Comment | I largely agree. Labour had been entrenched in power for far too long. They were complacent, inept, and utterly corrupt.
I don't think the SNP would be any better if they'd been the incumbents for 40+yrs.
Budget cuts have definitely bitten deep, but council departments are basically unmanageable. The amount of skiving and outright theft is quite staggering. Changes at the top take years to filter down, it's like steering a supertanker. |
