There's things called dead weight and live weight loads. Dead weight loads are static like the flooring makeup itself, white goods that won't move etc. Live weight loads are things that do move, ie. You, guests furniture.

I'd suggest looking at how much weight you expect to lift (and drop) and convert it to kn/m2 to check, but I think you're most likely to cause cosmetic damage over anything structural. Another friendly suggestion is to lift weights outside if you are in anything bar a detached house due to the sound and reverb that this will cause.
