I do however think, when listening to the nouvelle crop of public transport campaigners, that they really desperately need to just pare it back and cut the waffle - and hence force politicians to do the same. Cheaper fares and public ownership - and cheaper fares through public ownership - is all that actually matters. Never mind integrated, high tech yadda yadda. That can come later.
