I’m just going for my 1st mortgage, been in my current job since November and was only asked for 3 months.
We are doing it through a financial advisor, no idea if that’s different but I’d think 4 months should be fine. Ours is through Leeds Building Society.
As suggested, probably best if your friend speaks to the lender and explains.
