However I wouldn't rely solely on them. Have a look at the school's Twitter account, website, see if you can join the PTA Facebook group if they have one, to get a feel for the school. Outwith covid you probably could've visited for a tour.
Your house will be in the 'catchment area' for a particular school but if you're not keen you could potentially make a placing request at another school. The council website should have info.
