| Comment | The flat market has been non stop over the past 6 months - unfortunately for first time buyers its over saturated with people buying to let.
My friend and his wife put their flat up last month(its actually similar to what youre looking for) and within 2 days had 8 offers - 5 of which were from buy to let companies, 2 from people who were buying to let(on their own) and 1 offer from a first time buyer.
It seems to be the same 7 companies/people snapping up most of the flats in the area and they all were clearly competing against each other and outbid the first time buyers by a clear 10k.
Its a difficult time for first time buyers for sure |
