| Comment | I'd like to see at least one power station retained as a museum with either tours or just free to roam around. Not sure if it'd be possible, I expect there would need to be significant modification of the buildings for accessibility and probably an expensive cleanup as they probably use nasty chemicals in various places around the sites.
It wold provide some employment in the areas where the station closing was a huge blow to the local economy. As the original staff retire, having their stories on video or at least audio recordings could allow for the knowledge to remain available as part of the museum long after they leave. |
