The housing market is still operational and you can still view properties and places are being advertised left, right and centre. Just take a drive/walk around the city and look at the amount of for sale signs there are kicking about.
I've been seriously looking for somewhere since August and it's been a pain in the arse. Currently, if the property is in a popular area, in good condition and your prepared to go waaaaay over the value of the home report then you'll stand a good chance of getting it.
I recently offered £8k over the home report on a flat (roughly 7%) and it still wasn't enough. |
