I will echo the call the seek legal advice. They are now doing the same and for all you know they could be trying to find ways to make you come across negatively to limit your access to the kids. This is what happened to a friend of mine (the mother of the kids with primary custody) when she split with her partner (the dad) and the family became difficult. They were in discussions with lawyers without saying anything, trying to find ways of making her look unreasonable and an unfit mother.

Ultimately, getting legal advice can put you in a better position to know your rights and possible risks. You don't need to actively tell your ex that you are seeking legal advice until anything blows up or you need to take steps to safeguard your parental rights.
