| Comment | We’ve just sanded the floors in our place. We did about 40sq m over 3 days. Rental cost us ~£100 for the floor sander and edge sander, plus another £50 or so on sanding sheets and then ~£80 for varnish. It’s definitely worked out cheaper than it would have been to get someone in but it’s hard work, and ended up with a rougher finish than we would have got if someone had come in.
