| Comment | Honestly it was a bit chaotic. We started going diagonally, then with the grain, but then had to go diagonal again in places that were a bit tougher to sand. Going diagonal definitely helped with making the boards more level, but it ripped up the sanding sheets more than going with the grain. The sandpaper ripping ended up being the biggest pain in the arse of the whole job because when it rips, it more or less explodes and you have to switch off the machine, take it all out and screw a new one in place, which takes about 5 minutes. Doesn’t seem like long but it adds up. |
