This is an issue with no regulated cap on rent,there is always going to be people renting wether that be by preference or not. Don’t understand how every landlord is tarnished with the same brush. These issues could be ironed out by laws prohibiting issues like the story stated on this post or excessively high rent. But until then a guess every landlords a cunt?
