| Comment | Devlieroo and all these other food delivery companies like Ubereats, long term objectives is to create their own kitchens / menus, put their kitchens / brands on the top of the search results, and essentially control the whole entire market.
Eventually you'll have a huge factory / kitchen in each city which they own, and the site will show all of these different brands / menu, in which the user will think they buying from different brands. But it will all come from Deliveroo itself. Every other take away will begin to close up as the Deliveroo or whoever increases their fees etc, or put local take aways from its search results.
They claim to "strengthen the UK restaurant sector" etc, but as I said, their business plan is to start competing with other small businesses and there will be only 1 winner. |
