Sharing makes so much of a difference. I pay £475 as does my flatmate and we've got a comfy spacious 2 bed overlooking the Kelvin, not far from the botanics. Comfy, clean, new bathroom put in before we moved in, separate sitting room and kitchen. £475 would only get you a compact hole unless you went further out sadly.
