| Comment | I think this is their excuse for the reduced pickups, whereas the actual issue seems to be lack of education on what goes into the blue bins.
I read somewhere that every time something "foreign" is found in the recycling load, the council can be charged 2.5k to fix it/clean the line.
Maybe this way they can reduce the amount they collect but blame us for not recycling enough, when really it's lack of knowledge that's causing the issue. |
