I wouldnt say the litter is exaggerated, some areas where I do litter picking such as when I was in Dennistoun. We didnt pick litter in an area but rather downwards. I picked litter from a 3x3 meter square more than 1 meter down. In some areas we go like Yoker, you cant even see the ground.

Sometimes once you’ve picked the litter and you can see the ground, its actually just earth and plants growing on top of litter, some of which has expiration dates going back more than 10 years.

Some areas that I pick are just as bad/even worse just a day or so later. On my Instagram I show videos of litter sprawling for miles. From Thornliebank station all the way to Nitshill there must be thousands of tonnes of litter on that stretch alone.
