The Guidance notes ([https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/CHttpHandler.ashx?id=32259&p=0](https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/CHttpHandler.ashx?id=32259&p=0)) are pretty clear (***This must be in the form of one of the following: - current Council Tax or Household Utility bill dated within the last 3 months***) and in my experience they are quite arsey about the council tax thing (to the point where they were weird about me giving them a scan of my council tax letter rather than the original document which I had scanned and chucked out). It's ridiculous given they \_are\_ the council, you'd think they would have their own record but ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯. Maybe worth double checking with them, maybe they would agree to something else (probably just depends who you speak to and what kind of day they are having).
I've never had an issue getting parked which seems surprising given how few spaces there are (on my street probably one space for every 8 flats). If you come home late on a Sunday night you might need to park round the corner but it's not that bad this area is full of students and most don't have/need cars so that helps.

Also a bonus at the moment (from: [https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/parkingzonepermits](https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/parkingzonepermits))...
**Due to the fire in Garnethill we appreciate that some residents may have been displaced from where they usually park. To assist with this, your resident permit will be valid in Glasgow City Centre, Park, Woodlands and Woodside.**

I'd be cagey about that though as I've heard of people getting tickets from wardens when parking in other areas which they've then had to appeal, depends if you can be arsed with the hassle should that end up happening.

Permits are now digital so you don't need to display anything
