Brutalist architecture can be really nice. The thing is it was usually designed to be embellished with landscaping and fountains outside and nicely designed fixtures inside but these were often expensive to maintain so were often just left out which didn't do the the architecture any favours. The Barbican Estate is a good example of Brutalist architecture that is properly maintained and presented and it is awesome: [https://www.google.com/search?q=Barbican+Estate&sxsrf=ALeKk03W\_NOQASv7OGjvT1ryIwc4H\_U9lA:1617609500881&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjo9rz90ObvAhXEhf0HHY7AClkQ\_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1366&bih=657#imgrc=9yrCkemoTDeRJM](https://www.google.com/search?q=Barbican+Estate&sxsrf=ALeKk03W_NOQASv7OGjvT1ryIwc4H_U9lA:1617609500881&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjo9rz90ObvAhXEhf0HHY7AClkQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1366&bih=657#imgrc=9yrCkemoTDeRJM)
