I did not at any point say that people should go out of their way to send their kids to a "bad school", however it isn't as cut as dry as X school is bad and Y school is good. There are over 300 schools on the league table, so where does the line sit that determines "good school" and "bad school"?
That's a very basic view of something where the data and statistics are not as linear and don't have a "pass" or "fail" type ranking.

Not that I would use this method but you can't even use the half-way point (168) as a marker for good or bad as the disparity between the too and the bottom to that middle point is not equal or even remotely in the middle ground.
