| Comment | So I've just gone through 6 weeks of hell dealing with this, despite having been asked to shield last year etc. GP said it was nothing to do with them, GG&C NHS trust don't want to know, the vaccination helpline don't want to know, and the missing appointments service were no use either.
Get yourself registered as an unpaid carer:

The classification is *very* broad (I fall into it anyway as I shop for my uncle who is CEV with a brain tumor and lives alone) and even if you don't fit into it, you're supposed to be group 6 anyway, and since there is no functional way in Scotland to actually get problems like this fixed, the best thing to do is to sign up on here, and you'll get an appointment very quickly thereafter. |
