Your well being has been threatened and youve already been assaulted. The police will absolutely want to help you and any honest information you can give them will be of great help.
If your anxiety is stopping you from speaking to the police then id strongly suggest contacting a solicitor and asking for advice.
Ive had a lot of trouble with the police in my life and i can tell you from my experience that the police wont care that youve taken a bit of speed in your life.
