| Comment | Try not to be nervous. It's great that you're getting it and any side effects should pass quickly. For me it was a headache, feeling exhausted, mildly feverish. This came on the next day, about twelve hours or so after receiving the vaccine. The side effects lasted most of the day, except the mild fever which went away after a couple of hours. Take paracetamol before and during the next day and that should help. And take things easy if you can. My arm was sore for a couple of days, but nothing major. The shot itself was completely painless, and I'm deathly scared of needles! Good luck with it, hope it goes easy for you! |
