If you fancied making a longer day of it, you could get the train to Balloch and walk the footpath/cycle track to Luss. Maybe talking like a 2-3 hour walk though. Or you could maybe hire a bike from Balloch at Loch Lomond shores and cycle down (if you don’t have your own bike).
Guarantee that everywhere will be absolutely mobbed all weekend though!
