Pitlochry is about 1.5hrs with fairly regular direct trains; the town itself is really nice with loads of good cafes, restaraunts, local shops etc, and also a whole range of walks around town covering everything from a gentle riverside stroll to all day munro hikes
Blair Atholl is similar and only about 15 minutes further along the same train line |
