What kind of thing are you looking for?

You could get the train to south queensferry (Dalmeny I think the train station is) and walk about there. Lovely views of the bridges, cobbled streets, lots of wee cafes and ice cream shops. You could always walk over the bridge to the north side and have a look around there where the sea life centre is and get the train back from that side?

Go to Callander (which is lovely enough in itself and has Bracklinn Falls) but there’s a lovely easy long walk you can follow all the way along to Loch Lubnaig past the falls of Leny, Ben Ledi etc.

It really depends on what you’re looking for. A short walk, a longer hike, beach, parks, strenuous, easy. I’ve got suggestions :)
