I was actually wrong - its the second most-common move, after Aberdeen City --> Aberdeenshire. But the difference is that the third most common move is from Aberdeenshire to Aberdeen City, which offsets the trend for Aberdeen (i.e, young shire people go there to live, then retire back out).
