I mean this in the nicest way possible but have you seen Glasgow city centre? Homeless people definitely are not given houses or flats in a couple of months (even though they should). Especially men living on their own. Priority goes for those with children I believe.

The council and govt have slashed funding for housing esp for the homeless over the years. To be honest but in a situation like yours, it sounds easier to get somewhere private to rent again (within your budget of course) at the same time going for HA stuff. I’m not sure choosing to just give up and make yourself homeless because you’ve been evicted a few times will sit well on applications. Find a reputable letting agent or go for Mid Market Rent eg Lowther Homes.

May also be worth getting in touch with Shelter, Citizens Advice and Living Rent Glasgow.
