My friend very recently received a flat through Govan Hill housing association after being on the waiting list for just over a year. 1 bedroom, nice enough. Rent is £410ish a month but I'm sure you'll be higher priority due to the 6 months notice. I would get in touch. They were told they could view the property but they could turn down 1 but after that they had accept the next one. Bit of a tough one if you don't think the first one isn't great because the next one could be worse. Everything happened pretty quickly and the keys were handed over in a couple of days. They were able to claim a £50 voucher for refurbing the place. Good luck, hope you manage to get some answers soon
