I wouldn’t say arsehole is the word. I think folk in Glasgow do drive more aggressively than other places I’ve lived (Manchester was the worst), but not out of anger or maliciousness, more for self protection from the sheer number of cars that are on the road at some of the busy times. Rush hour has a real vibe of organised chaos, but folk do seem for the most part to signal and let each other in.
