My post wasnt intended to convey that. The colleague relayed that one of the local councillors for that area of Glasgow was allowed to buy the retail units (2 maybe?) on High Street for the bargain price of £1. This was done through an arms length company that is owned by the council (but is not the council). So this company with council connections was allowed access to what was public owned property & was allowed to purchase it with no legal oversight for £1. |
