| Comment | Bivalves should generally only be collected in months with an r due to spawning seasons and bacterial growth. But wait until September and do read a bit up on the different types, minimum sizes, etc.
As for mushrooms, you can find them anywhere depending on the species. Some are all year around, some are in summer, most are in autumn. Just go to the least kept parts of whatever park is closest to you.
I have a few spots but I don't want them to get over-foraged and destroyed so that's my little secret. |
