Agreed. I'm pretty sure they are as good as outlawed in Scotland now, however don't quote me on that!
There are cases in England of the freehold being sold to companies, who then double the ground rent on the lease hold every ten years (which makes some "owners" have to pay like £10k to live in their own house) shoddy!
