| Comment | I like that Stewart worked as a teacher for 30 years rather than being a career politician (ok she did run before and lost) and she actually lives in the area. I'm not from the UK originally, so the notion that you can represent an area you don't live in is still a bit foreign to me.
I understand that demographics here are heavily monochromatic (92% identified as Scottish/British white in last census), but a diversity of voices in Holyrood is sorely needed regardless of political affliation.
That said, her website/twitter feed are very light on substance. |
