Comment	Glasgow is more of an actual city than Edinburgh so I would ask what you actually want to be near when living near the centre. You’ll get cinema’s, shops, pubs/clubs etc in other areas too. The West End / south side specifically. Green space wise, have a wonder from Kelvingrove down the kelvin walkway to the botanics. Easy to forget your in a city
