Comment | I feel that there's a lot of people with this opinion, and while you're absolutely correct that someone on a bike can pose a real danger to a pedestrian - most cyclists in parks will hardly have that sort of speed.
There are often dedicated trails or a lane for cyclists, but my experience with navigating them is that they are full of pedestrians.
I always go slow and try to be as little a hassle to pedestrians and cars as I can be - I still get people yelling at me just for things like pushing my bike on the pavement (that's right, pushing it!!!).
Seems a bit unfair that I'm given no space to travel safely and then get yelled at for "endangering the safety of others" for slowly cycling around and pushing my bike. |
