| Comment | I'm suffering from Missing Vaccine Anxiety. I'm 48 and following the advice of people here, I phoned the helpline. Turns out my name was not on any list. They submitted enquiry for me and said if I don't hear anything in a week, call back. The next day I had one of those automated emails saying that my enquiry has been submitted I have to wait 5 working day allowed for an answer. Imagining Kafkian scenarios in which faceless bureaucrats prevent me from getting the jab. Conspiracy theories that maybe because I'm a dual national, some Brexiteer keeps deleting my name from the list? Crazy, I know, but this is the state of my mind right now. I just want that vaccine so that I can get on a plane and see my family.
The irony is that I keep getting texts from the NHS in England inviting me to have the blasted jab.
Anyway, just needed to vent. Or shout at the shadows on the cave walls, I guess. |
