Comment | Going shopping. I hate shopping. My view of shopping is "Know what you want, go in, get it, get out as fast as possible". This does not appear to be a common philosophy.
The interminable *browsing*. "What do you think of this?" Nothing. I think nothing of it. It's not on the list, we never discussed anything remotely like it, I'm not even considering it. Can we leave yet?
Then there's the *other people*. Standing mouth agape, probably unmasked, with their trolley to one side and blocking the entire aisle as they try to remember if they put underpants on that morning.
And I can guarantee that of the four things I need, one will be out of stock meaning a trudge to a different store. This seems to be a universal rule at B&Q, Homebase etc. "We don't reorder anything until the shelves have been empty for a week". They clearly do t comprehend the "in time" part of JIT.
Also, allergies are making me a stuffy-nosed, miserable bastard. OK, ok. *More* of a bastard. |
