| Comment | I had an issue with neighbours some years back who would blast loud music in short bursts on a regular basis, which was more annoying than if they played it constantly!
Went to speak to them, they wouldn't answer the door but turned it off when I got there and back on again as soon as I went back downstairs.
Had the police out, made complaints to the housing association and nothing changed.
One morning (after being woken up twice through the night with their music) I'd had enough, so at around 7am I put my stereo in the living room on full blast and my bedroom radio (at the opposite end of the flat) on full blast on a different radio station then left for work for 11 hours.
That night, the silence from their flat was amazing! Next night they were back to their usual tricks, so did the same thing 2 days running, and had no more issues with them. |
