Comment | Not having grown up in Glasgow, but having lived here for over 10 years now, I run into this quite a lot. I have no clue why it's a thing. I recently had a first date where the guy decided it was a super nice thing to say /s that I had a Glasgow Uni accent. Maybe it's just as well it never went beyond a first date because if that's what he says when he meets me I dread to think what he'd say further down the line. |
