Yeah I agree if it’s just friendly patter then I don’t care. But some people are almost tribal.
Was genuinely pissing myself at a girl at a beer garden on Saturday lecturing me etc about how I must be Tory and then she was hitting out with the fact “her grandad was working class” to a boy who has grown up in a council house (just not in Glasgow). If anything it’s hilarious seeing people convince themselves they’re hard done by if they’re from a wealthy area of the city but have a Glasgow accent |
