| Comment | Hi, yes we've tried all sorts! Had environmental health out numerous times, had a notice put on the property etc., all to no effect. Also went the tribunal route from February last year but still no resolution as they won't visit to do the inspection due to COVID, and we will be evicted before they do. The landlord has refused to engage or speak with us at any point during our tenancy, so we are forced to target the letting agents as their representative. The letting agents also did a lot wrong in terms of not lodging the deposit on time, charging a holding fee, misleading us, and generally being as obstructive as possible. We basically feel as though we have no choice but to pursue direct action as being patient and nice, and following the 'proper' routes hasn't got us anywhere |
